Fashion Rocks Auction — Live Tomorrow!

In honor of Fashion Rocks, an online charity auction is being set up to benefit Stand Up To Cancer, a new initiative founded to raise philanthropic dollars for cancer research. The auction will be live from September 5 - 15, 2008 at ebay.com/fashionrocks.

Justin Timberlake jealous of Ashton Kutcher (and his trucker cap)

Justin Timberlake has lashed out at Ashton Kutcher over who was first responsible for making trucker caps cool. Yes, really.

The twinkle-toed singer made the call in an article for Vanity Fair's Fashion Rocks supplement, where he claims that he and William Rast buddy, Trace Ayala, should be credited for starting the trend, and not the Punked! host.

"It's funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I've heard him make that statement before, " he said.

"Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen. We just kind of didn't care. We kind of still don't."

Good. Because neither do we.

Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Duffy, for Fashion Rocks

Rihanna, Kid Rock and Mariah Carey also on bill

A string of superstars have been lined up to perform at this year’s Fashion Rocks event which will take place in New York on September 5.

Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kid Rock, and Mariah Carey will take part in the concert, as will Welsh songstress Duffy whose rise to fame in the US has been steady since the release of her album ‘Rockferry’ in March.

Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Keith Urban, Lil Wayne and Fergie are also on the bill for the event, taking place at Radio City Music Hall.

The proceeds will benefit ‘Stand Up To Cancer’, an Entertainment Industry Foundation programme which raises fund for cancer research.

This year’s Fashion Rocks will be broadcast on CBS.
