I think it is fair to say that Vogue US hasn't had a decent cover in quite a while. For the latest May issue, Anna Wintour has chosen Gwyneth Paltrow, perhaps in the hope of redeeming herself.
Photographed by Steven Klein, Paltrow is wearing a gown from Oscar de la Renta's pre-fall '08 collection. A helmet from her latest film, Iron Man, has also been sneaked in for a bit of extra movie promotion.
The last time Wintour promoted a movie on her cover was in September '06 when Kirsten Dunst posed for her flick Marie Antoinette.
