Ugg Australia has lovingly been making sheepskin boots since 1978. Originally founded in Australia by a young surfer Brian Smith, who took the Ugg brand overseas to the United States where it found a new home amongst California surfers. By 1998 the brand had grown significantly and the product line included two well know boots (Classic Tall, Classic Short), four slippers and a few casuals. In 2000 the media interest in the Ugg brand went through the roof when Oprah Winfrey featured the Ultra style on her show. Ugg is now known worldwide and is one of the most sought after brands. With new additions every season the Ugg product line now includes: Classic Tall, Classic Short, Baily Button, Classic Cardy, Kensington and an extensive range of accessories.
