The Hervé Léger revival

In the late 80s, designer Hervé Léger debuted his bandage dress, a body-hugging, super-fitted frock made of bandage-like lycra material that hugged curves like a second skin. It was an instant hit, with celebrities everywhere flaunting their toned bodies in the statement dresses. Iman even wore one to marry David Bowie.
Fast forward a few years, and though the Léger legacy continued with the odd outing (think Sandra Bullock's 'makeover moment' in Miss Congeniality) the dress all but disappeared from the red carpet. That was until the fashion world got wind of the fact Max Azria was going to relaunch the label in the midst of the bodycon revival. Since then, the Hervé Léger bandage dress has again become a red carpet favourite

Eva Longoria to design a collection?

EVA LONGORIA PARKER is set to follow in the footsteps of her friend VICTORIA BECKHAM and design her own fashion range.Beckham currently designs her own range of jeans and Longoria Parker is considering taking some time out from acting to launch her own collection.

She says, "I would love to design one day. I do not have the time right now but I would love to develop a home line or a clothing line. So we will see what comes first."I am thinking about it."And the Desperate Housewives star is already compiling ideas for a possible style venture.

She adds, "My definition of style is comfort. I have to be comfortable, so that would most likely the line I would take."

YSL (and the A-list) prove the crop is here to stay

Short, cropped hair is here to stay. But instead of the asymmetric (typically 60s) ‘pob’ made famous by Posh last year, the new bob hair style is more fashion forward thanks to YSL who has made the glossy, pudding bowl cut the look of next season.
