Daks London: Spring/Summer 2012

Daks had a 50's summer influence; a retro twist to poolside elegance with mid-calf hem lines, classic shirt dresses with bow-tied waistbands, playsuits and open front midi skirts flashing short shorts underneath. In a nautical colour palette with white, navy, black and red. Traditional check patterns, classic stripes, a rope motif print on shirts and skirts and jackets.

Mulberry: Spring/Summer 2012

Inspired by the British seaside; ice cream, piers, arcades and inevitable rainy British summer style with rain gear. The palette was candy colours lemon, candy pink, greens and off-whites. The Mulberry showed raincoats, lollipop dress, trench coat with hoods, long dresses, leather biker jackets and maxi skirts that kept feminine with lace applique and silky fabrics.
