Music Film: David Bowie - The Stars (Are out Tonight) (with Tilda Swinton, Andrej Pejic, Saskia de Brauw & Iselin Steiro)

David Bowie adoration by fashion lovers is set to return, with an upcoming album out march 11 'The Next Day'  after 12 years away and an exhibition at the V&A 'David Bowie is' opening on March 23.

The second single from new album the short film/music video for "The Stars (Are out Tonight)", features David Bowie and Tilda Swinton as a happily married couple and thheir world is disturbed and then re-arranged by the intrusion of a celebrity couple played by Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw. 

Playing a younger David Bowie in the band next door is 27-year-old Norwegian model, Iselin Steiro in the the short film/music video, directed by Floria Sigismondi and shot by Jeff Cronenweth, this story at once captures a twenty first century moment in its convergence of age, gender and the normal/celebrity divide.

Laure Shang: 'Perfect Night' by Theo Stanley

NOWNESS premieres “Perfect Evening”, a music video from Chinese chanteuse Laure Shang, wearing sculptural dresses by local designer Masha Ma, the Shanghai native morphs into an eerie nocturnal creature enveloped in smoke and flames, directed by Theo Stanley. Also a fashion muse, Shang has modeled for L’Officiel Hommes, regularly attends couture shows around the world and her forthcoming album Ode to the Doom was inspired by goth subcultures and the macabre romance of Alexander McQueen.

Shang rose to prominence by winning the third season of China’s television singing contest Super Girls and last year took Music Radio’s Best Female Singer award.

Rita Ora in ASOS Magazine September 2012 by Tyrone Lebon

The new September 2012 issue of ASOS Magazine featuring cover star, RITA ORA, the 21-year-old British singer-songwriter was shot exclusively by Tyrone Lebon. Rita has already amassed three number one singles, is opening for Coldplay throughout this summer, and was a guest judge spot on The X Factor UK. Her debut album that drops on August 27th took 2 ½ years to record and is called O.R.A. which means “time” in her native Kosovo. Rita wears a bespoke bomber jacket designed by ASOS with ASOS patchwork shirt on the cover.
