Topshop Unique: Spring/Summer 2012

Egyptian influences was clear at Topshop Unique with a sporty and streetwear edge for spring 2012. Sporty edge was show through wild abstract prints; cats and tribal, sheer sleeves on a leather jacket, denim tops, mesh panels jersey pieces, oversized hoodies, knitted jackets and denim swing skirts with geometric-tribal-esque metallic print and bare mid-driffs. Alongside a variety of sophisticated and ladylike dresses; body-con, column, dirndl skirt and floaty chiffon skirts with metallic theme continuing.

Preen and Jonathan Saunders' new collection for Topshop

ELLE UK has the first pictures of Preen and Jonathan Saunders' brand new collection from Topshop

If you're itching to jump on the rock chick-meets-rhinestone cowboy trend then you'll love Preen's latest offering - the whitewashed denim skirt (pictured) and shift dress embellished with chunky gold studs are right on trend for spring, and the white belted shift dress complete with eppaulettes is the perfect piece to carry you through the summer months.

And over in the Jonathan Saunders camp bold colours and graphic shapes are the look du jour. The statement figure-hugging dresses in block shades of black, turquoise, pink and yellow, a modern twist on the little black dress, are sure to fly off the shelves, not to mention the eighties-inspired satin bomber jackets.

Kate Moss For Topshop Fall 2008

Here is a first look at Kate Moss' new Topshop Fall collection, in what is her seventh collection for the High street retailer.

Kate does what she knows best, rock chick chic. Which is very much her signature style.

The collection features skinny jeans, fake fur gilets, slouchy knits and tea dresses which have proved very popular each season, that they are usually the first pieces to sell out.

Kate Moss Topshop collection launches in British stores tomorrow and will be available online at topshop.com from 6am. Prices range from £18 for a vest to £130 for a premium dress.

Alice McCall returns to Topshop with Atari-inspired collection

Alice McCall must know she is onto a darn good thing after her debut collection for Topshop became their fastest selling line so far. Kate Moss who?

There is more good news for fans of the Aussie designer - she has been tapped to design a second collection for the high street retailer.

And the theme? Computer games.

"The second Topshop range is looking at the whole Atari computer game movement of the late eighties as the foundation for our print, and to bring a cool urban edge to pretty dresses and separates. This is very Alice McCall," said a Topshop representative.
Can anyone say 'hell yes!'?

Expect graphic-based prints featuring black, white and grey, with touches of teal and fuschia in dresses and tuxedo trousers. In stores September 25th.

McCall will open New York Fashion Week with Michael Angel this Friday.

White Label by Neurotica for TopShop

White Label by Neurotica, autumn/winter 2008-9
Sweet prints, draped jersey T-shirt dresses and low-maintenance sexiness all aptly describe the new White Label collection by Neurotica.

The collection - which will be available in Topshop's Oxford Street store at the end of August(and probably online) - inspires the same kind of moody mystery as the main line brand, with subtle shapes and soft tailoring suggesting femininity and careful layering to keep it modest enough for everyday wear.
White Label's monochrome prints echo Neurotica's Scandinavian inspiration, with designer Victoria McGrane successfully moving from cult designer brand (Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung among her fans) to high street, translating the look with a strong focus on wearability and versatility.

"I approached Topshop with the idea to produce a more accessible range based on the same print designs and themes and they loved it!" she tells us. "Being in the Topshop concession not only gives me great exposure to the UK high street but also lets me keep creative control over my own brand."
