For a long time, if you were looking for a show full of exceedingly weather teens you were gonna get a bunch of west coast blondes who spend more time at the beach than they spend eating, sleep and school combined. So when Gossip Girl was set to debut I was intrigued. Would it go the way of 'The Heights' and fizzle out in less than a year? Not with this wardrobe budget it wasn't. And it's officially here to stay.
The breakout star of the show is Leighton Meester who plays Blair Waldorf on the hit CW show. The irony here? Leighton grew up beach side and is naturally a blonde. Go figure.
